OneStop KWC is committed to the responsible collection, use, and protection of personal information. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, the purposes for which it is collected, how it is used and disclosed, and the measures we take to protect it. This Policy applies to all personal information collected through the OneStop KWC platform and all associated communications.
1.1 OneStop KWC collects, uses, and discloses personal information in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, S.C. 2000, c. 5 ("PIPEDA") and all applicable provincial privacy legislation.
1.2 This Policy applies to all personal information collected from Customers, Service Providers, and any other individuals who interact with the Platform, the OneStop KWC website, or associated communications channels.
2.1 OneStop KWC collects only the personal information reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, facilitate service bookings, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
2.2 Personal information collected from Customers may include: (a) full legal name; (b) email address and telephone number; (c) service address and property access information; (d) booking history and service preferences; (e) payment transaction confirmation records; and (f) records of communications with OneStop KWC.
2.3 Personal information collected from Service Providers may include: (a) full legal name and contact information; (b) government-issued identification for identity verification purposes; (c) background check results, with the Provider's express consent; (d) banking or payment information for the remittance of fees; and (e) service history and performance records on the Platform.
2.4 OneStop KWC does not collect or store complete payment card numbers. Payment processing is conducted through secure third-party processors subject to their own privacy standards.
3.1 Personal information is collected and used exclusively for the following purposes: (a) to facilitate, confirm, and administer service bookings; (b) to match Customers with appropriate Service Providers; (c) to verify Service Provider identity and credentials; (d) to process payments and generate transaction records; (e) to provide customer support and facilitate the resolution of disputes; (f) to improve the functionality and quality of the Platform; and (g) to comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
3.2 OneStop KWC does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer personal information to third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other commercial purpose.
4.1 By accessing or using the Platform, Users provide implied consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information as described in this Policy.
4.2 Where required by law, OneStop KWC will obtain express written consent prior to collecting, using, or disclosing sensitive personal information.
4.3 Users may withdraw consent at any time by providing written notice to onestopkwc@gmail.com, subject to applicable legal, contractual, and operational constraints. Withdrawal of consent may limit or preclude a User's ability to access certain features of the Platform.
5.1 OneStop KWC does not disclose personal information except in the following limited circumstances: (a) to Service Providers — only the information strictly necessary to facilitate performance of a confirmed Booking; (b) to payment processors — solely for the purpose of processing a payment transaction; (c) to technology and infrastructure providers — for the purposes of operating, hosting, and maintaining the Platform, subject to confidentiality obligations; and (d) to legal or regulatory authorities — where disclosure is required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory requirement.
5.2 All third-party service providers who receive personal information from OneStop KWC are contractually required to maintain its confidentiality and to use it solely for the purposes for which it was disclosed.
6.1 OneStop KWC implements reasonable and appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, modification, or destruction.
6.2 Access to personal information within OneStop KWC is restricted to individuals whose responsibilities require such access.
6.3 No method of electronic transmission or data storage provides absolute security. While OneStop KWC takes all reasonable precautions, it cannot guarantee that personal information will be fully secure in all circumstances.
7.1 Personal information is retained only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable law.
7.2 Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal information will be securely destroyed, deleted, or anonymized in a manner that prevents reconstruction.
8.1 In accordance with PIPEDA, individuals have the right to: (a) request access to their personal information held by OneStop KWC and to receive an account of its use and disclosure; (b) request correction of any inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated personal information; and (c) request deletion of personal information where retention is no longer required or permitted.
8.2 Requests under this Article must be submitted in writing to onestopkwc@gmail.com. OneStop KWC will respond to all requests within thirty (30) days of receipt.
9.1 The Platform is not directed to, and OneStop KWC does not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a minor, we will take prompt steps to delete such information from our records.
10.1 OneStop KWC reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Users will be notified of material amendments via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform following the effective date of an amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
11.1 For any inquiry, concern, or complaint regarding the collection, use, or handling of personal information, contact our Privacy Officer at onestopkwc@gmail.com. Response time: within 30 days of written request.
11.2 If a User is not satisfied with OneStop KWC's response to a privacy complaint, the User may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at www.priv.gc.ca or by calling 1-800-282-1376.
